The weakening of the euro could lead to many holders of insurance travel back to the eurozone, experts say.
This is because European travelers may benefit from better exchange rates next year, according to travel association ABTA.
Sean Tipton, spokesman for the agency, said he had a 15 percent decrease in the departure of the British in the continent because of the strong euro, and many find it too expensive.
Mr Tipton said: "Predictions for next year [is] that the euro will continue to weaken against the pound, which is great news for British tourists.
Mr. Tipton also believes that British tourists will soon have 80 percent of their holiday in the eurozone.
In addition, prices could be even cheaper when tourists arrive, as the expert said that the hotels and restaurants in the euro area reacted to the fall in business to reduce their prices.
Meanwhile, the First World has forecast that economic problems in Europe could lead to a weakening of the euro in the coming year, indicating that customers travel insurance may consider returning there.
